Student Matinees for Julius Caesar have ended
Today was the last official Student Matinee for the production of Julius Caesar. Over 900 students took the opportunity to see this production over the past three days and for students that missed it you can call the Box Office (393-3728) and ask about discounts for our 2:00pm Saturday Matinee or Monday evening’s performance.
Performances of Julius Caesar will continue on Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings next week.
It will soon be time for the Dis We Tings 2011 Student Matinees and they begin on Wednesday and run through Friday so check to see if your school is booked. Evening performances are tonight and tomorrow and you can check the schedule for next week’s performance times.
As we posted earlier, the festival officially opens tonight at the Dundas with a performance of Dis We Tings 2011 that is dedicated to Kayla-Lockhart Edwards.
The students from Grand Valley State University in Michigan arrive on Saturday and will begin their performances of Lovestruck on Monday at various schools in Nassau. The Mariah Brown people arrive on Sunday and the first performance of that production will be on Tuesday morning at The Bahamas Historical Society.
The festival is underway so don’t miss any of the productions. You can still save $20 by purchasing a Season Ticket and see four shows for only $80.
